For the trade

Built for people who treat furniture all day.

Ready-to-use commercial packs, a written method your team can follow, and coverage figures you can quote a job from.

Why applicators use it

Ready to use

Mixed at our end at commercial strength. No ratio to remember on site, no drum that came out weaker than the last one, no argument about who mixed it.

Works on leather too

The same drum covers upholstery fabric and aniline or nubuck leather. One product on the van instead of two. Test finished leather on a hidden area first.

A method, not just a drum

Every trade customer gets the written application guide. Most call-backs on fabric protection are application failures — this is how you avoid them.

Starting out?

The Starter Kit is a 5 L can and a pressure sprayer in one box.

The sprayer is the point. It lays down the fine, even mist this product needs. A trigger bottle cannot do that — it puts down too much in one place, and over-application is what makes a treatment fail. If you are adding fabric protection to a cleaning service, start with the kit.

What you may and may not say

This protects you as much as us. If a claim cannot be backed, the complaint lands on whoever made it — and that is usually the applicator, not the manufacturer.

You may say

  • Repels water and oil-based spills
  • Gives you time to blot a spill before it soaks in
  • Suitable for upholstery fabric, and for aniline and nubuck leather
  • Does not affect the look, feel or breathability

Never say

  • Waterproof · stainproof · permanent · 100% protection
  • Flame retardant · fire resistant · fireproof
  • Antibacterial · antimicrobial · kills germs
  • Eco-friendly · non-toxic · child safe

On fire in particular. SoftGuard Protex is not a flame retardant and must never be sold or described as one. If a customer needs fire compliance for venue or contract upholstery, that is a different product and a different certification — we make a flame retardant for textiles, and it is not this.
